What is Hado?
Hado (ha-dough): the word Hado has existed in the Japanese language for centuries - literally translated, it means “vibration” and as we know, everything is energy - we are all Hado Beings!

What is an aura?
Everything made of atoms has an energy field created by the interaction of protons, neutrons and electrons. The energy field of living beings are thought to emanate from the chakras - energy centers in the body that each correspond to certain frequencies. Simply put - the aura is the unique energy field surrounding each human being, and reflects the colors associated with the chakra frequencies. We believe the aura is something some healers and mediums can see with the physical eye, but everyone can feel. It’s an essence, a vibe, the energy that we put out into the world; it’s an ever-changing reflection of our current state of consciousness. At different times in our life, we give priority to different needs and wants; the aura is a physical outward structure expressing these priorities in different chakra energy colors.
Why aura photography?
We love having aura photography in our “self-discovery tool bag” because it allows us to see that energy which we normally can only feel. An aura photo shows in full-spectrum color the current state of your energy being and can provide you with an abundance of information about yourself. It becomes a benchmark for understanding where you are in relation to where you want to be; or, a beautiful confirmation of your spiritual growth. Think of it as a way to discover your best self! We encourage you to use it as a powerful tool that guides you to make positive changes in your life.
How does it work?
A little bit of magic, a little bit of science. We use the “aura cam”, a photographic instrument created in the early 1980’s by Guy Coggins, who collaborated with several psychics to develop the system. It’s a hand-built device with two electromagnetic hand sensors that pick up your vibrational frequency (also called biofeedback) and translate it into colors determined by the frequency of your chakra energy. Your aura photo is your own unique, colorful, spiritual fingerprint!
